BENEFITS OF DRONE SPRAYING

PEOPLE SAFETY:

Eliminating the need for people to be working at heights for roof treatments is the number one benefit. It is not often that we can completely eliminate a risk in the workplace, but this is one of those rare opportunities to do so.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY:

Our drone spraying services uses a specialised spray equipment that can apply the chemical more accurately than manual spraying. This can reduce the amount of chemical being used by approximately 30%. This in turn reduces risk of wind drift and run off to stormwater.

ASSET CARE:

No people on roofs equates to less stress on the roofing system. Less dents, less sheet join separation, less flashing movement. However, the drones have cameras, so you still get footage of the condition up there for your asset care program.

REDUCED DISRUPTION:

  • The drone can cover 10 times as much surface area in a standard 8 hour day as manual spraying.
  • No scaffolding to be erected.
  • Much less time on site with ‘men working above’ risk.

ACCURATE REPORTING:

Drone flight paths and camera footage are available each flight. Chemical usage reporting is the same for manual or drone application.
